Marie Bailot

Holding a Masters from the University of Lyon II in teaching French as a foreign language and techniques of expression, Marie Bailot has experience teaching courses for adolescents on both an individual and on a group level. She has also taught French as a foreign language at the American School of Chennai (India), as well as in other institutions such as the Swiss language club in Leysin (Switzerland), and several Paris-area schools. |
Pascal Cauchy

Associate Professor of European History at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (“Sciences Po”) and Administrative Director of the Research Center for Twentieth Century European History (CHEVS), Pascal was also Dean of international students at Sciences Po from 1994-1999. At IFE he helps shape the academic program and teaches contemporary French history. He has published—in French and Russian—on the Russian Revolution and is a specialist on the historiography of communism and edits a book series for Seuil Editions. |
Hélène Caune

Hélène is associated with the Center for European Studies of Sciences Po, where she more particularly studies European economic and employment policies. She was a lecturer at the University Paris X Nanterre and at the Univeristy Cergy-Pontoise (2006-2008) and visiting-fellow at Harvard University’s Center for European Studies (2010-2011). Specialised in the field of political sciences and European studies, she worked with the European Commission (Secretary General ; Directorate General Energy and Transport) and other European organisations before starting her doctoral research. |
Julie Devineau
After earning a doctorate in poltical science from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), Julie Devineau remained attached to Sciences Po’s Research Center for International Relations (CERI) where she works with the Observatory of Latin American and Caribbean Politics. She is a specialist in public policy analysis, with a particular focus on Mexico. At IFE she leads one of the workshop sections that run throughout the preparatory session. |
Pierre Grosser

Historian and Professor at Paris’ Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po), Pierre has published reference works on the Cold War (1995) and the Causes of the Second World War (1999). His latest work is on War and Crisis in the 20th Century. Recently named Director of Studies at the Diplomacy Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pierre teaches international relations at IFE, emphasizing the history and evolution of France’s international role. |
Constance Moréteau

Constance Moréteau teaches Art History at the University of Paris, in US university programs in France and in several French fine arts schools, while also working as a critic of contemporary art. She has held the title of Foundation of France researcher and archivist at the National Institute for Art History in the program "Social History of Art, Art History of Society". She is putting the finishing touches to a doctoral dissertation at the University of Paris – Nanterre on the uses of books and texts in art expositions, focusing on the US and France between 1965 and 2000. In 2012 she won fellowships at both La Terra Foundation in France and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. |
Jessica Mourtont

A graduate student at the Sorbonne, Jessica Mourtont specializes in issues surrounding multiculturalism in anglophone spaces. Her work as a consultant for different NGO’s in the area of inter-cultural relations has lead her to travel to a variety of places including Ireland, India, the Canary Islands, Italy, the Caribbean, and Madrid. |
Ugo Palheta

Ugo Palheta currently holds the positions of post-doctoral fellow at GRESCO, the sociology research institute of the University of Poitiers and of associate researcher at the Observatory of Sociological Change, a joint research unit of the CNRS and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris ("Sciences-Po"). In 2010 he received his doctorate from Sciences Po for a thesis on public policy and vocational training, awarded with highest honors. In 2011 he won the prestigious Louis Cros Prize, awarded by the Institute of France for the best academic publication in the area of education. |
